Tell us about your PageGroup career so far:

I am now based in my 3rd country in 8 years, having joined as a grad straight from University, so it has definately been an adventure. I have also been promoted through out that time and these were my 2 main priorities when joining; progression and international opportunities.

How do you spend your time at work?

I liked to be out the office as much as possible meeting with customers and my network. This is balanced with spending time in the office with the team and sending shortlists. 2 days are rarely the same.

What experience did you have before joining Page?

I joined as a “fresh faced” grad so very little aside from casual work and internships.

What led you to join PageGroup?

I looked at a lot of graduate programmes however none at the time could match the career progression and international opportunities. PG also offered a strong training and developement platform.

What is the most rewarding part of your job?

The feeling of placing a candidate into a role they really want and filling the role on behalf of the client never leaves you. Equally, being part of a colleagues developement and own progression is as rewarding.

What advice would you give someone with your previous background who wanted a job in recruitment?

To be hungry and have a passion to be involved with in this type of environment.
