The Business Development Manager will generate new accounts and drive business growth for airfreight of valuable cargo. This role requires strong self motivation and independence given that this is the pioneering role and will represent the company in the Philippines. The candidate will be working closely with and reporting to the management team based in Singapore.

Job Description

  • Oversee end-to-end logistics operations, ensuring secure and compliant handling of shipments.
  • Coordinate with transportation partners and service providers to facilitate timely delivery.
  • Manage documentation and track shipment progress across key milestones
  • Drive business growth in the luxury goods sector
  • Build strong partnerships with high-end clients and vendors
  • Assist in preparing commercial documents such as quotes, proposals, and reports.
  • Support client growth initiatives and collaborate with the sales team to identify new opportunities.
  • Act as the company's local point of contact, supporting administrative functions and future expansion efforts.
  • Liaise with vendors, clients, and relevant authorities to ensure smooth business operations.
  • Provide responsive customer support and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Will work together with a staff doing bill of sales and customer service.

The Successful Applicant

  • A degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in the airfreight industry
  • Experience or knowledge in handling valuable cargo
  • Proven experience in getting new accounts and managing existing accounts
  • Strong understanding of logistics operations and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic thinking and a results-driven mindset.
