The client is a global professional services firm growing their Finance Shared Service team in the Philippines.

Job Description

  • Strategic Process Leadership: Set strategy and priorities for cash application aligned with key outcomes: posting timeliness, AR integrity, unapplied cash reduction, compliance, and customer experience.
  • Continuous Improvement: Analyze the full workflow-from bank/lockbox intake to reconciliation-identify bottlenecks, and lead process and control enhancements.
  • Governance & Reporting: Lead operational reviews with client SMEs, reporting performance, risks, and improvement progress.
  • Client & Escalation Management: Serve as the main contact for SMEs, translating needs, resolving escalations, and ensuring alignment with daily operational realities.
  • SME Partnership: Bridge business requirements and delivery capabilities; support adoption of new processes and tools.
  • Financial & Cost Driver Management: Evaluate key cost drivers (manual touches, exceptions, rework, data gaps, backlog) and identify efficiency opportunities.
  • Talent Development: Strengthen team capability through hiring input, training, performance management, and succession planning.
  • Risk & Compliance Oversight: Maintain strong controls, audit readiness, and consistent policy adherence; manage risks across systems, data, and banking interfaces.

The Successful Applicant

  • Completed a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent.
  • At least 6-8 years of experience in cash application, AR/O2C operations, or related finance leadership roles.
  • Proven success driving measurable process improvements. Expertise in workflow analysis, value stream mapping, optimization, and controls.
  • Strong executive presence and escalation management skills.
  • Understanding of financial impacts and cost drivers in cash application.
  • Familiarity with ERP and cash application tools within a delivery model.
  • Amenable to working fully onsite on a day shift schedule.
