Job Description

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the Director - Enterprise Accounts will be responsible for both business development and strategic account management across key enterprise clients. This is a highly visible leadership role focused on driving revenue growth through new logo acquisition, account expansion, and executive-level relationship management.Key responsibilities include:

  • Identify, pursue, and secure new enterprise clients within banking, financial services, fintech, and adjacent sectors.
  • Develop and execute account growth strategies to maximize revenue across existing relationships.
  • Own the commercial performance and profitability of assigned accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives and senior decision-makers.
  • Lead solution-selling engagements, proposals, RFP responses, contract negotiations, and commercial discussions.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on payments modernization, card issuing and acquiring, real-time payments, switching solutions, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with product, technology, legal, finance, delivery, and sales teams to drive successful deal execution and client outcomes.
  • Oversee strategic account governance, service performance, escalations, and client satisfaction.
  • Lead and develop a small but growing commercial team, with opportunities to expand the function as the business scales.
  • Monitor market trends, identify new commercial opportunities, and position the organization as a strategic partner within the payments ecosystem.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate is a commercially driven "hunter" with a proven track record of winning enterprise accounts and delivering sustainable revenue growth within the payments, fintech, banking technology, or enterprise technology sectors.

You will possess:

  • 12+ years of experience in enterprise sales, business development, account management, or commercial leadership roles.
  • A strong track record of acquiring new logos and growing strategic enterprise accounts.
  • Experience selling complex technology or payment solutions to banks, financial institutions, fintechs, or large enterprises.
  • Strong knowledge of payments, card issuing, acquiring, switching, real-time payments, digital banking, or adjacent technologies.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills with senior executives and key stakeholders.
  • Experience managing large commercial contracts, proposals, negotiations, and enterprise sales cycles.
  • Strong commercial acumen, attention to detail, and ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments.
  • A resilient, ambitious, and growth-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in a target-driven environment.
  • Previous experience leading or mentoring small commercial teams is highly desirable.
