Job Description

  • Develop and execute end-to-end distribution and route-to-market (RTM) strategies,
  • Lead transformation initiatives across distributor networks and internal operations.
  • Analyze market, channel, and performance data to identify growth opportunities, address distribution gaps, and inform strategic decision-making.
  • Manage distributor partnerships and governance frameworks, including performance tracking, KPI setting, and joint business planning to ensure alignment and accountability.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to align distribution strategy with broader commercial objectives.
  • Implement tools, systems, and digital solutions to enhance visibility, reporting, and real-time monitoring of distribution performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement programs focused on coverage expansion, productivity, and cost efficiency across markets and channels.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Distribution Strategy & Transformation Manager (FMCG) should have:

  • Strong project management and execution capabilities, with the ability to manage timelines, budgets, and multiple workstreams to ensure delivery within scope and quality standards.
  • Proven experience leading transformation initiatives, driving operational and structural change across distributor networks, supply chain processes, and commercial execution.
  • Strong leadership and change management capability, able to influence teams, build capabilities, and embed new ways of working across the organization.
  • Commercial acumen and business mindset, with a clear understanding of cost-to-serve, profitability, and market dynamics to drive sustainable growth.
  • Background in the beauty, personal care, or cosmetics industry is a strong plus
