Job Description

  • Lead government affairs and market access strategy to support business growth and patient access in the Philippines
  • Shape the policy environment and advocate for frameworks that enable access to innovative medical technologies
  • Build and strengthen relationships with key government stakeholders, industry bodies, and medical societies
  • Develop and execute reimbursement and pricing strategies to expand sustainable patient access
  • Engage payers and key decision‑makers to influence coverage, funding, and access pathways
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with commercial, medical, and regulatory teams to align strategies and priorities
  • Provide strategic insights on healthcare policy, regulatory developments, and access‑related risks and opportunities
  • Represent the organization in external forums, positioning it as a trusted partner in healthcare innovation

The Successful Applicant

A successful Government Affairs and Market Access Manager should have:

  • 7-10 years of experience in government affairs, market access, public policy, or health economics within the healthcare industry
  • Strong understanding of the Philippines healthcare system, including policy, regulatory, and reimbursement frameworks
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategies that expand patient access and influence coverage decisions
  • Experience engaging and building relationships with government agencies, payers, and healthcare stakeholders
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities, with experience leveraging clinical and economic evidence
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross‑functional and matrix environments
  • A proactive, collaborative mindset with a passion for improving patient outcomes and access to care
