The Key Account Manager will drive commercial growth for the Meat Division by strengthening customer relationships, expanding key accounts, and introducing innovative, value‑adding solutions across the meat industry. The role requires strong industry networks, technical understanding of ingredients and technologies, and the ability to influence multiple stakeholders in a matrix environment.

Job Description

1. Account Management & Business Development

  • Manage and grow assigned accounts across major meat processors and manufacturers.
  • Drive strategic engagement with Procurement, R&D, Quality, and Commercial teams.
  • Build strong customer intimacy and leverage industry contacts to secure high-level meetings.



2. Commercial Strategy & Pipeline Execution

  • Develop and execute account plans aligned with market opportunities.
  • Own the sales pipeline-from opportunity development to deal closure.
  • Achieve revenue, volume, and margin targets for the Meat Division.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and provide timely market feedback.



3. Technical & Portfolio Understanding

  • Quickly develop deep knowledge of the company's technologies (taste, texture, preservation, functional ingredients, etc.).
  • Present technical solutions and value propositions tailored to customer needs.
  • Collaborate with technical, R&D, applications, and marketing teams to co‑create solutions.



4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work effectively in a matrix organization with regional and country teams.
  • Mobilize cross-functional support to deliver customer projects smoothly.
  • Coordinate with supply chain, pricing, regulatory, finance, and technical service teams.



5. Market & Competitor Intelligence

  • Build insights into local meat industry trends, competitor activity, and customer strategies.
  • Identify gaps and opportunities for growth, innovation, and penetration.

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum 7 years of B2B sales or key account management experience.
  • Experience handling large accounts independently.
  • Proven ability to build value propositions and present technical solutions.
  • Deep and active network within the Philippines meat industry.
  • Ability to secure meetings with Heads of Procurement, R&D, and senior technical stakeholders.
  • Strong personality with leadership-level maturity and stakeholder management skills.
