Job Description

  • Develop and execute national sales strategies to achieve revenue, growth, and market share targets across the HCP channel
  • Translate market insights into actionable commercial plans across national, regional, and territory levels
  • Lead implementation of engagement and promotional initiatives targeting key healthcare stakeholders and institutions
  • Guide, coach, and develop district and territory managers to consistently deliver strong performance
  • Foster a high-performance culture built on accountability, collaboration, and customer focus
  • Strengthen team capability through coaching in consultative selling, product knowledge, and scientific engagement
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and medical institutions
  • Partner with Marketing and Medical teams to align on engagement strategies, congress activities, and brand initiatives
  • Monitor sales performance, market trends, and competitor activity to identify risks and growth opportunities
  • Drive execution excellence through effective forecasting, CRM utilisation, resource optimisation, and cross-functional collaboration

The Successful Applicant

A successful National Sales Manager (Clinic Chain) should have:

  • More than 15 years of progressive sales experience within pharmaceuticals, dermatology, or the wider healthcare industry
  • Strong track record in HCP engagement, ethical selling practices, and driving prescription-based business growth
  • Proven experience leading multi-regional field teams with a focus on performance and execution excellence
  • Demonstrated success in shaping and delivering national sales strategies aligned with commercial objectives
  • Strong understanding of dermatology/pharma market dynamics, including HCP decision-making and engagement models
  • Solid grounding in sales force effectiveness, field execution, and structured performance management
  • Experience working closely with Marketing, Medical Affairs, and other cross-functional partners
  • Good understanding of compliance standards, regulatory frameworks, and ethical promotion requirements
  • Familiarity with omnichannel or digitally enabled sales approaches would be an advantage
