Our client is a leading multinational company in the industrial automation sector.

Job Description

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies aligned with regional and local business goals.
  • Lead, coach, and manage a team of at least 5 sales engineers, fostering a high-performance and customer-centric culture.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients in the Food & Beverage, Pharma, and Life Sciences industries.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market presence and drive growth.
  • Oversee sales forecasting, pipeline management, and performance tracking to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
  • Collaborate with marketing to align sales initiatives with promotional campaigns and market positioning.
  • Conduct regular business reviews, identify performance gaps, and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure high forecast accuracy and effective resource utilization.
  • Identify training and development needs within the team and coordinate with HR for implementation.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies.
  • Drive continuous improvement in sales processes, tools, and techniques.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

The Successful Applicant

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, ICE, Chemical, ECE, or related fields)
  • MBA preferred but not required



Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years in a business unit leadership role with a proven track record of success
  • Strong background in the Food & Beverage, Pharma, and Life Sciences industries
  • Experience working in a multinational company with structured systems and processes
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing sales teams
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and data-driven decision-making
