You will play a pivotal role in shaping course quality, trainer coordination, and training effectiveness across multiple maritime training centers worldwide.

Job Description

  • Lead the planning, development, review, implementation, and delivery of global training courses
  • Ensure the annual global training calendar is published and maintained in the LMS, with all required courses available
  • Liaise closely with trainers, training centers, crewing teams, manning partners, and seafarers to ensure compliance
  • Proactively identify training needs and implement cost-effective solutions within approved budgets
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and client satisfaction in line with Quality Management System requirements
  • Ensure timely financial, operational, and management reporting
  • Monitor the business impact of delayed training readiness and escalate risks as required
  • Stay abreast of industry developments and propose solutions to emerging challenges
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, service providers, and external partners

The Successful Applicant

  • Class I Certificate of Competency (Deck or Engine)
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in maritime training or a similar role
  • Seagoing experience as Chief Engineer
  • Proven experience in seafarer training delivery and coordination
  • Budget management and cost control experience
  • Degree in Marine Studies, Maritime, Shipping, or related field (preferred)
